Imagine a young, feminist Andy Warhol. That’s how New Orleans/New York based pop artist Ashley Longshore is often referenced, and she’s happy with the association. Longshore’s global success as a self-taught artist doesn’t stop there – she’s also an author and pioneer in social media marketing who has flipped the traditional business model of galleries on its head. She recently completed a residency at The Peninsula in Beverly Hills, was IMG’s Artist-In-Residence at New York Fashion Week, and carries the distinction of being Bergdorf Goodman’s first female solo artist exhibitor in their 100+ year history.
